Many consumers confuse the term "Loan Modification" with a regular FHA, VA , Conventional, Subprime or portfolio loan. A loan modification is different than a traditional mortgage loan. The FHA Hope for Homeowners Program has been active since October 2008 but it has not been delivered to the public thru any bank lending channels. It's is our hope and expectations that it will in the near future.
Watch and listen to radio and television for updates to this program Presiden Obama is working with the lenders and politicians to make adjustments to the program to make it more favorable to the investors, banks and the homeowners.
Do not confuse the Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae solutions which the president will deliver on March 4th, 2008. Those solutions are different from the FHA Hope for Homeowners program.
